Mahopac Resident Named New Schools Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo is the new man in charge of Mahopac's public schools. DiCarlo, who lives in Mahopac, was given a five-year contract by the Mahopac Board of Education at Thursday's meeting to be the district's new superintendent. DiCarlo, who serves as principal of Trinity Elementary School in New Rochelle, starts on Feb. 26. Pleasantville, Greenburgh Residents Complain About Post Office PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The snowstorm in early January caused some Pleasantville residents to miss out on their mail. In Facebook groups, residents complained about not receiving any mail from the post office for more than five days following the Jan. 4 snowstorm and having run-ins with the post office when trying to get customer service.
