Reward Offered After ATVs Damage Putnam Golf Course A $1,000 reward has been offered by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office after two people drove ATVs on the Putnam County Golf Course.The golf course was able to capture video footage of the culprits riding red ATVs on the property. “We cannot allow individuals to misuse the golf course at the expense of the taxpayers," County Executive MaryEllen Odell said. She was born in Elizabeth, N.J. on Nov. 9, 1920 to Mary (Serafin) McHugh and Matthew McHugh. She had two brothers: John and Matthew, Jr. and four sisters: Clare, Mary, Rita and Rose, all who predeceased. Man Attempts To Extort Yorktown Resident, Police Say A 30-year-old Orange County man was arrested and charged after police say he tried to extort money from a Yorktown resident. Shea Kirschbaum of Maybrook was charged with attempted grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor, after a police investigation. Kirschbaum voluntarily turned himself into police on Jan. 11. A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. Kirschbaum was released on $500 bail and is due back in court on Feb. 8.
