DMX Performing In Poughkeepsie DMX is coming to Poughkeepsie. The Mount Vernon native who was raised in Yonkers is performing at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, Feb. 10. He previously performed at The Chance in 2016. In December, the 46-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion and faces up to five years in prison. Simmons lived near the Bedford border on McLain Street in Mount Kisco with now-estranged wife Tashera Simmons before putting the home into foreclosure in 2016 after filing for bankruptcy.

Pleasantville Names Former Pace Faculty Member New Village Administrator The Village of Pleasantville has found Patty Dwyer's replacement. Eric Morrissey was named village administrator Monday night, replacing Dwyer, who worked for the village for 30 years. Morrissey will start on Feb. 15, while Dwyer will stay on through March to help with the transition. Morrissey will be paid $130,000. Nonna Confirmed As County Attorney WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- John Nonna's appointment as Westchester County Attorney was confirmed Monday night by the Board of Legislators. Nonna, who previously served on the Board of Legislators and as mayor of Pleasantville was nominated by County Executive George Latimer in December.
