Know Them? Police Searching For Young Trespassing Suspects In Rye Brook Authorities are asking for help from the public in locating two suspects who illegally entered a closed former hotel in Westchester.  The trespassing incident happened in Rye Brook on Tuesday night, June 13, when two young suspects unlawfully entered the former Westchester Hilton located at 699 Westchester Ave., according to Rye Brook Police.  The hotel closed its doors in 2020.  Anyone with information as to the suspects' identity is asked to call Rye Brook Police at 914-937-7437.  This is a developing story. Hit-Run Suspect At Large: Man Hospitalized After Being Struck In Peekskill Police are currently searching for the suspect in a hit-run that left a pedestrian hospitalized in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, June 12 around 10 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was hit by a car in the area of the 1000 block of Howard Street in Peekskill, according to Peekskill Police Lt. Adam Renwick.  The vehicle then drove away from the scene before authorities arrived, Renwick said.  The victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment following the incident.  The hit-run is now being investigated by Peekskill Police.  This…

A gas leak caused by construction resulted in part of a busy Fairfield County road being closed to traffic.  The gas leak began on Thursday, June 15 in Ridgefield in the CVS parking lot at 467 Main St., Ridgefield Emergency Management announced just before 4:40 p.m. The leak was caused by construction activity in the area, officials said.  Main Street between Bailey Avenue and Prospect Street was closed before being reopened late Thursday afternoon.
