Person Hospitalized After Crash On Route 100 In Katonah A two-car crash on a busy main road in Northern Westchester sent one person to the hospital and caused a small fluid spill. The collision happened on Friday, June 16 around 4 p.m., when first responders were sent to Route 100 in Katonah by the King Kone ice cream shop for a reported crash, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. After the patients involved were evaluated, one was sent to a local hospital. 7 Smoke Shops Busted For Underage Sales To Minors In Danbury A series of unannounced compliance checks has landed several Fairfield County smoke shops in hot water for selling e-cigarettes and vaping products to minors, police said. Seven smoke shops in Danbury were busted for selling e-cigarettes and tobacco products to customers under 21 after a total of 15 unannounced compliance checks were conducted by authorities on Tuesday, June 13, according to Danbury Police. Long Stretch Of Busy State Route To Close In Hudson Valley Commuters are being warned of an upcoming road closure that will impact a long portion of a busy state route in the Hudson Valley. Both directions of State Route 9W in Orangetown between Shadyside Avenue and Hickey Street will close on both Saturday, June 17, and Saturday, June 24, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closures will last between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on both days, officials said. The road closure is to facilitate maintenance activities.

Drunk Driver Caught With 12-Year-Old Son In Car In Hudson Valley: Police A Hudson Valley man faces numerous charges after authorities caught him driving while drunk with his 12-year-old son in the car as well as a variety of pills, police said. Duo Assaults Victim In Front Of 4-Year-Old At Sports Complex In Yorktown: Police Two men face charges after allegedly hitting a victim in the head several times in front of a 4-year-old child at a sports complex in Northern Westchester, police said. Police Searching For Young Trespassing Suspects In Rye Brook Authorities are asking for help from the public in locating two suspects who illegally entered a closed former hotel in Westchester. The trespassing incident happened in Rye Brook on Tuesday night, June 13, when two young suspects unlawfully entered the former Westchester Hilton located at 699 Westchester Ave., according to Rye Brook Police. Hit-Run Suspect At Large: Man Hospitalized After Being Struck In Peekskill Police are currently searching for the suspect in a hit-run that left a pedestrian hospitalized in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Monday, June 12 around 10 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was hit by a car in the area of the 1000 block of Howard Street in Peekskill, according to Peekskill Police Lt. Dog Rescued After Jumping 34 Feet From Tower In CT State Park An injured dog had to be carried out of a state park in Litchfield County by first responders after jumping 34 feet from a tower. The rescue happened on Monday, June 12 just after 3:30 p.m., when first responders were sent to Mount Tom State Park in Litchfield to help out a dog that had jumped from the tower at the top of the park, according to the Bantam Fire Company.
