Injured Worker Rescued From Roof Of Metro-North Facility In Croton-On-Hudson Emergency responders were called to a Metro-North yard in Northern Westchester to rescue an injured worker from a roof. The incident happened on Tuesday, June 13 just before noon, when firefighters and first responders were sent to the Metro-North Croton-Harmon Yard in Croton-on-Hudson on a report of an injured worker on top of a building. New Superintendent Named At Mamaroneck Union Free School District After a six-week nationwide search process, a school district in Westchester has named a new superintendent who will be arriving from a district in a neighboring state. The Mamaroneck Union Free School District has named Charles B. Sampson as its next superintendent, the district's school board announced on Tuesday, June 13. Indian Point Full Volume Test Scheduled In Buchanan Hudson Valley residents are being told to not be alarmed when they hear an upcoming test of the Indian Point sirens that will sound throughout numerous counties. The test is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14 at around 10:30 a.m., according to Westchester County government officials.
