$2.9M Expansion Proposed For Brewster Library BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Brewster Public Library could double in size. The library is looking to borrow up to $2.938 million dollars to finance an expansion of the library. A referendum will be on the ballot on Election Day. The 25-year bond will cost the average homeowner $24 a year. The expansion will see the creation of a community room, private study rooms and ADA compliant restrooms and an elevator.
