North Jersey Airman, Ramapo Basketball Star Dies At Military Base Quamier Harding, a Jersey City native, died after being found unresponsive at Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico on Tuesday, April 25, multiple outlets are reporting. Man Denied Cab Ride Convicted Of Brutal Assault On Taxi Driver In East Orange: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Newark man was convicted of aggravated assault for beating an East Orange cab driver who refused to give him a ride. In June 2018, Yinka Olasoji became enraged when the driver refused to give him a ride in East Orange, Assistant Prosecutor Brianne Cunningham, who tried the case, said. Stew Leonard's Opening 2nd NJ Location, Replacing Kosher Market Stew Leonard's is continuing its New Jersey expansion. The grocery store chain is opening a new location in Clifton in 2024, replacing Seasons Kosher Market at 467 Allwood Road, company officials tell Daily Voice. Wine and Spirits of Clifton will be folded into the new location. Stew Leonard's only other New Jersey location is in Paramus. Seasons, which had been in Clifton since 2016, announced it is closing this summer because the store unexpectedly lost its lease.

Man, 26, Shot In Linden (Photos) A 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in Linden on the afternoon of Thursday, May 4, authorities said. Officers responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave and located the victim, who suffered a single gunshot wound, Captain Christopher Guenther said. The victim was treated on scene and transported to Newark University Hospital, Guenther said. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det.
