NJ Man Gets Life For Killing Mom Of Kids, Hiding Body In Chemical Filled Trash Bags A 37-year-old Newark man was sentenced to life in prison without parole for sexually assaulting, stalking and killing the mother of his children and then disintegrating her remains by placing them in a sealed garbage bags filled with chemicals in 2018. Newark Police Lieutenant Dies Suddenly, 47 Richard Weber, a longtime police lieutenant in Newark who lived in North Caldwell, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 1, the city announced. Street Racers Surround Jersey City Police, Dent Patrol Car Jersey City Police had to call for backup while attempting to break up a meetup of street racers in the early morning of Sunday, April 30. Police arrived to 150 Industrial Drive and attempted to disperse the crowd of people, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Bunny Abandoned In NJ Junkyard Beats The Odds JJ the bunny's story of survival is a true miracle. JJ was found abandoned in a junkyard, looking for help. Asthma Attack Kills North Jersey Native Samuel Cobar, 22 Samuel Cobar never let his asthma stop him from chasing his dreams, according to a fundraiser set up after his passing. The West Orange native's asthma, however, is ultimately what killed him, those who knew him said. "That then led our loving brother, son and best friend to have a life-threatening asthma attack while he was alone in his apartment, which had left him unconscious without oxygen for 50 mins," the campaign says.
