Search Launched For Mom Who Ran Away With 9-Year-Old Daughter In NJ: Police Police in South Jersey are trying to locate a 9-year-old girl who they say was picked up by her mom in North Jersey and hasn't been returned. Athena Worthy-Miles' mom, Dasia Serrano-Worthy, picked her up from her grandmother's house on 74th Street in North Bergen on Saturday, June 17 at 2:30 p.m., police in West Deptford say. According to Athena's father, Dasia does not have custody of Athena and has not returned her, police said. Dasia also disconnected her phone and no one has been able to contact her, police said. Shelter-In-Place Order Lifted At Three Hoboken Schools Following Burglary (Updated) A shelter-in-place order at three schools in Hoboken has been lifted following an attempted burglary, police said on Wednesday, June 21. Police had initially received a report of the burglary in a residential building on the 800 block of Willow Avenue and they attempted to track down a suspect, officers said. A shelter-in-place was ordered for Wallace Elementary School, Brandt Elementary School and Hoboken High School as a precaution, police said. There was no threat to any schools, police said. Community Rallies To Save Passaic County Deli Ingwersen's Delicatessen has been an institution in Passaic County since it opened in 1960. Owner Scott Ingwersen was faced with closing the North Haledon deli and he turned to the community for help. He created a fundraiser that raised $5,775, more than the $5,000 he was seeking. Hoboken Man Arrested For Father's Day Shooting: Police A 23-year-old Hoboken resident was arrested and charged with a shooting incident on Sunday, June 18, Hoboken police said. At 2:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 500 block of Jackson St, police said. No one was injured in the shooting and no property was damage, police said. 'Icon To The Community': NJ Ground Zero First Responder Mickey McCabe Dead At 76 Mickey McCabe was all about helping the City of Bayonne. The longtime first responder and community leader died on Monday, June 19 after a long battle with lung cancer, according to his obituary. McCabe and his wife Judy started McCabe Ambulance Company, which they operated for more than 50 years, his obituary reads.
