Man Suing American Dream Says He Broke His Leg Riding Waterslide A man is suing the American Dream mall in East Rutherford claiming he broke his leg while riding a waterslide at the DreamWorks Water Park  in July 2021. Xavier Velez filed a lawsuit in Superior Court of New Jersey in Bergen County on Wednesday, June 21. Also named in the suit were Triple Five, which owns the mall, and the operators and manufacturers  of the waterslide. Popular Kosher Supermarket Opening In Teaneck Seasons Express is coming to Bergen County. The popular kosher supermarket is opening a location at 465-467 Cedar Lane in Teaneck, replacing a Wells Fargo. The new Seasons Express comes on the heels of the supermarket closing its location in Clifton, after the store unexpectedly lost its lease.  Currently, the only Seasons Express in New Jersey is in Lakewood. An opening date for the new Teaneck location has not been announced.

Man Shot In Jersey City: Authorities A 23-year-old Jersey City man was shot on early Tuesday morning, June 27, authorities said. At 12:08 a.m., Jersey City police officers responded to a call at Van Wagenen and Pavonia Avenues where they saw the victim shot in the lower left leg, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. He was transported to a local hospital, Wallace-Scalfione said. His injuries are not life-threatening, Wallace-Scalfione said. An investigation is ongoing, Wallace-Scalfione said.
