$50,000 Lotto Ticket Sold In North Jersey Someone in Wayne just won some big bucks. One New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the white balls and the Power Ball drawn on Saturday, August 26, winning $50,000. The ticket was sold at AL Supermarket in Wayne. Elizabeth Woman Stabbed Dead A 37-year-old Elizabeth woman was fatally stabbed over the weekend, authorities said. Lakeisha Brooks was found suffering from a stab wound around 10:40 a.m. at Broadway and Front Street on Saturday, Aug. 26, Union County prosecutors said. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead, prosecutors said. Man With Firearm Arrested Following Pursuit: Bayonne PD A 22-year-old Bayonne man was arrested by police after he was seen brandishing a firearm, authorities said. At 4:42 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, police were called to East 25th Street on a report of an armed man and spotted Elijah Odum, who matched their description, Captain Eric Amato said. NJ High Schooler Savanna Diana Dies, 16 Savanna Diana, a 16-year-old rising junior at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, died on Saturday, Aug. 19, her family announced. Diana loved to draw and paint and was considering going to art school, according to her obituary. Pat Kramer, Longtime Paterson Mayor, Dies At 90 Lawrence Francis "Pat" Kramer, who spent almost his entire life in Paterson, the city where he served as mayor for 12 years, died on Thursday, Aug. 24. He was 90 years old. Kramer grew up on East 42nd Street and 18th Avenue, and attended what is now John F. Kennedy High School. After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Kramer ran on the Republican ticket for mayor, and was elected in 1966.
