Child, 5, Dead After Being Found In Newark Bathtub: Prosecutors A five-year-old died after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in Newark on Monday, Aug. 28, authorities said. At 7:26 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of Washington Street, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The child was transported to University Hospital where it was soon pronounced dead, Stephens and Fragé said. Heroin, Meth, Coke Seized From Duo In Hudson County: Cops Heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine were among a variety of drugs seized from two people in Hudson County last week, authorities said. Police were searching a residence on the 200 block of Front Street when they found Edgar Agramonte, a 38-year-old Union City resident, had cocaine and 15 ecstasy pills, on Friday, Aug. 25, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
