Man Dies After Shooting On I-84 In CT: Suspects At Large Police are searching for the suspects involved in a broad daylight shooting incident on Interstate 84 in Hartford County that left a 36-year-old man dead. The incident happened on Friday, Aug. 11 around 2 p.m., when State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash on I-84 East in the area of Exit 48 in Hartford. Firefighter Hospitalized After Blaze Breaks Out At Home In Larchmont Although a quick response from firefighters to an early morning blaze at a house in Westchester ensured that the occupants escaped unharmed, one first responder was hospitalized as a result of the blaze. Former Fire Chief, Business Owner From Port Chester Dies A village in Westchester is mourning the loss of a longtime business owner who rose to important positions in the community's fire department. Lifelong Port Chester resident Robert "Tee" Thalheimer died on Friday, Aug. 11 at the age of 76, according to his obituary.
