An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Longtime Yorktown Soccer Coach Honored George Souls has always put his kids first. Souls, who has coached soccer in Yorktown for 37 years, was named Personality of the Month in December by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. Souls has coached nearly 30 teams and was inducted into the East Hudson Youth Soccer League Hall of Fame in 2009. "It was quite the honor," Souls said. "I was very surprised." Putnam's Kayte Kinsley Named NCAA Division II Coach Of Year Kayte Kinsley is at the top of her game. The Putnam Valley native was named the Synapse Sports National Coach of the Year for her work on the Pace University field hockey team. This year, Pace recorded a program-record 15 wins and spent the final eight weeks of the season ranked nationally. They were seeded 3rd in their conference tournament.
