US Open Beer Chugger From Ridgewood Sad She Didn't Get On Jumbotron This Year The third time was not the charm for Megan Lucky. Three-Alarm Fire In Jersey City, Two Firefighters Taken To Hospital: Authorities Two firefighters were hospitalized following a three-alarm fire in Jersey City on Wednesday, Sept. 6, authorities said. Firefighters observed a fire inside a vehicle located on a hydraulic lift approximately 7-feet high inside an auto repair building, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office, said. The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery announced on social media two of their goats escaped from a pen on Tuesday, Sept. 5 and are on the loose. Jersey City Woman Busted For Bayonne Burglary: Police Nancy Wandell, 52-year-old Jersey City woman was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Sept. 5 with breaking into a residence in Bayonne last month, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug. 5, police responded to a residence on West 42nd Street on a report of a burglary and theft, Captain Eric Amato said. Pizza Deliveryman Robbed At Gunpoint: Newark PD Newark Police are attempting to seek a man wanted for robbing a pizza deliveryman at gunpoint on Saturday, Aug. 19. Teenager Arrested Trying To Steal Car From Ford Dealership: Secaucus PD An 18-year-old from Pennsylvania was arrested for trying to steal a car from Meadowlands Ford on Monday, Aug. 28, authorities said. At 7:30 p.m., police responded to the dealership at 330 County Avenue and found Xazier Valle, who matched the description of the car thief, Chief Dennis Miller said. Police pursued Valle on foot after he tried to run from officers and were soon able to apprehend him and take him into custody, Miller said. Valle was charged with criminal attempt to commit theft and was issued a complaint summons, Miller said.
