‘Critically Important’ Hate Crime Hotline Launches On Long Island The hotline is part of a larger effort to crack down on hate crimes and incidents within the county. A package sent from nearly 180 miles away was intercepted by Suffolk County police on Wednesday, April 26 at 11:40 a.m., the department reported. Disbarred Long Island Attorney Arrested (Again), Allegedly Stole Over $20,000 From Client: DA The man, who had previously been sentenced for stealing from two separate clients, has now been accused of repeating the crime after he was disbarred.
