Closures Scheduled On Northern State Parkway In Oyster Bay Authorities have announced new planned overnight closures on the Northern State Parkway in both Nassau and Suffolk counties. $3,000 Boutique Burglary: Trio Swipes Cash, Clothing From Long Island Shop Police are searching for a group of three that broke into a Long Island thrift store and stole thousands of dollars worth of cash and clothing. Have You Seen Her? Police Search For Missing Long Island Teen Officials are asking for the community’s help with locating a missing teenage girl. Nassau County Police reported that Asly Vasquez, aged 13, was last seen in Hempstead at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 8. She is Hispanic, standing at five-foot-five and weighing 130 pounds. Vasquez has brown hair and brown eyes. Both her clothing description and her possible destinations are unknown, police said. 24-Year-Old In Critical Condition Following Long Island Crash A young Long Island man was left in critical condition after a late-night crash, according to authorities. The incident occurred on Friday, June 9 in Seaford, Nassau County Police reported. Just before 3 a.m., a 24-year-old man was riding his dirt bike and traveling south on Seamans Neck Road. Officials said the man lost control of his bike near the intersection of Oxford Lane, striking a tree. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and remains in critical condition.
