The crash happened in Ulster County Thursday, June 2, in Marbletown, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said a concrete truck was driving east on County Route 6 at around noon when it struck a bridge near the Gate House at Mohonk Mountain. The 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday, June 3, and charged as an adolescent offender with first-degree burglary, Suffolk County Police said. The teen was arrested after he allegedly threatened violence against Commack Middle School during an Instagram Live session Tuesday, May 31, Suffolk County Police said. He’s now facing charges of making a terrorist threat and aggravated harassment, police said. The boy is not a student at the school, according to investigators. It's unclear what connection, if any, the teen has to the school. His arraignment at Suffolk County Family Court was expected Friday, June 3.

Albany resident Carl Nantista died Monday, May 30, at the age of 67 following a “long, courageous battle” with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, according to his obituary. Capital District Man Sentenced For Sexual Contact With Children A man from the Capital District will spend decades in prison for sexually abusing a child in Albany County. Ronald Swartz, age 55, of Watervliet, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison Thursday, June 2, after being convicted on two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child.
