Scammer Nabbed For Swindling NY Homebuyer Out Of $45K, Police Say A man accused of bilking a New York homebuyer out of tens of thousands of dollars through an email scam has been nabbed by police. Maryland resident Emeka Ndukwu, age 50, of Lanham in Prince George's County, was arraigned on Long Island on Saturday, Oct. 1, on a felony charge of grand larceny in Nassau County Court.. Man Killed In Industrial Accident In Capital Region Remembered As 'Friend You Could Count On' Friends and loved ones are mourning the loss of a man who was killed in an on-the-job accident at a rock quarry in the region. Rensselaer County resident Darren Miller, of Grafton, died Saturday, Oct. 1, at the age of 35, according to his obituary. State police said Miller was working at R.J. Drunk Driver Nabbed After Striking Stopped Car, Fleeing In Capital Region, Police Say A Capital Region man is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk and hitting a stopped vehicle before fleeing the scene, authorities said. State police in Saratoga County were called at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, with reports of a two-car crash in Corinth on Stark Road. Poll Sheds Light On Highly Contested Race In New NY Congressional District With just weeks left until Election Day, new polling shows that Democrat Josh Riley is leading his Republican opponent, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, in the highly contested race for New York’s new 19th Congressional District.
