NY Tenant Stabs Landlord During Argument Over TV Remote, Police Say A New York man is behind bars, accused of stabbing his landlord during an argument over a TV remote, authorities said. Police in Columbia County were called at around 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, with reports of a stabbing in the city of Hudson, at a home near Columbia and North Second streets. An investigation revealed that 52-year-old Randy Shook stabbed his 66-year-old landlord during an argument over possession of a TV remote, Hudson Police said. 35-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash On Long Island Identified A man has died following a two-vehicle Long Island crash. Nassau County Police were called at around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, with reports of a crash involving a motorcycle in Valley Stream, near Rockaway Parkway and East St. Marks Place. A preliminary investigation revealed that 35-year-old Jhonathan Rosa, of Uniondale, was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle heading southbound on Rockaway Parkway when he collided with a Honda Civic, police said. Man Broke Victim's Foot, Threatened Her With Gun During Home Burglary In Region, Police Say A woman is recovering after a man allegedly broke her foot and threatened her with a gun during a home burglary in the Capital Region. Capital Region Man Repeatedly Punched 5-Month-Old Dog In Head, Police Say A man from the region is facing animal cruelty charges after he was allegedly caught on video punching a 5-month-old dog. Albany County resident Jordan France, age 30, of the village of Green Island, was arrested following an investigation by the Green Island Police Department. Police Seek Long Island Convenience Store Robber Who Claimed To Have Gun Police are asking for help locating a man who robbed a Long Island convenience store while claiming to have a gun. The incident occurred at the 7/11 store on Grand Avenue in Baldwin at around 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, according to Nassau County police.
