To the Editor: I hope my fellow Cortlandt residents will join me in voting for Kimberly Ragazzo for Town Justice on November 7. Kimberly’s years of service as a prosecutor give her an ideal background for the Town Justice position. I’m particularly grateful that if she is elected, Kimberly will give our town the full benefit of her experience and expertise, and will not maintain a private law practice while serving as Justice. I’m also encouraged by the sensi…

Letter To The Editor: New York Bar Association Should Not Support ConCon Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail greenburgh@dailyvoice.com. I have informed the New York State Bar Association that I am not renewing the membership I have maintained for 25 years because of their very partisan position on the constitutional convention referendum. Prior to October, 2017 they had presented both sides of the debate in a non-biased manner. I never expected the NYSBA to come out in favor of Constitutional Convention Vote. I thought they were a professional association and not a political arm of those who wou…

Letter To The Editor: Domino Sugar Responds Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail yonkers@dailyvoice.com. Dear editor: The recent letter by Nicholas Pyle attacking our popular elected representative for defending local jobs is both offensive and inaccurate. Mr. Pyle runs a for-hire lobbying firm in Washington, DC, and he operates a Political Action Committee that doles out cash to congressional campaigns. He is a paid attack dog, and he is angry that Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY-16) will not do his bidding and vote to bankrupt the Domino Sugar Refinery in Yonkers. I…
