'Sopranos' Actor, Westchester Native Cast As Cuomo On Showtime Series Michael Imperioli is going from the mob to the governor's mansion. Imperioli, who starred as Christopher on the "Sopranos" and is a Mount Vernon native who graduated from Brewster High School, has been cast as Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Showtime miniseries "Escape from Dannemora," about the 2015 escape of two inmates from an upstate New York prison. A street team has been sweeping up Peekskill three times a week, cleaning up of all the litter. The program is funded through next summer thanks to a $20,000 grant from Wheelabrator Westchester and contributions from the City of Peekskill and the Peekskill Business Improvement District.
