Police ID Teen Shot Dead In Jersey City A 15-year-old Jersey City boy died of an apparent gunshot wound on the early morning of Monday, June 5, authorities said. At 4:20 a.m., Jersey City police responded to a 911 call at 124 Wilkinson Ave. where they discovered Tyshawn Smith, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. NJ Man Kills Dog During 7-Hour Standoff: Police A 29-year-old Secaucus man was arrested on Sunday, June 4 after killing his dog after engaging police in a 7-hour standoff that began the previous evening. Lotto Ticket Sold At Union County 7-Eleven Nets $10K Two lucky lotto players, one in Union County and the other in Ocean County, won $10,000 playing New Jersey Lottery in the drawing held on Friday June 2. Newark Man Fatally Shot In East Orange A 39-year-old Newark resident was shot and killed in East Orange on the afternoon of Thursday, June 1, authorities said. At 2:44 p.m., East Orange police responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of Steuben Street and found Omar Johnson-Pilgrim suffering from gunshot wounds, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
