Car Collides With Telephone Pole, Two Kids Injured: Rahway Police Two juveniles were injured after a car crashed into a telephone pole in Rahway on the afternoon of Friday, June 9, authorities said. At 1:37 p.m., police were dispatched to New Church Street and Church Street on a report of a 2015 Honda Accord striking a telephone pole, Detective/Sergeant Douglas Botti said. The vehicle was occupied by four juveniles, Botti said. Two of them were taken to University Hospital in Newark, Botti said.   The crash remains under investigation, Botti said. Newark Woman Fatally Stabbed: Prosecutors A 66-year-old Newark woman was fatally stabbed on Wednesday afternoon, June 7, authorities said. Police responded to the 200 block of Sunset Avenue and found Annie Gooden suffering from apparent stab wounds,  Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
