Plainfield Homicide Unsolved Seven Years Later, Person Of Interest Sought: Authorities It has been seven years since Shamar Coleman was fatally gunned down in Plainfield and police are still attempting to solve his murder. On Dec. 29, 2016, Plainfield police responded to Seafood Rama and found Coleman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Union County Prosecutor William A. Driver Running Stop Sign Hits Jersey City Police Officers: Authorities Two police officers in Jersey City suffered minor injuries in a car crash on Sunday, Dec. 17, according to a crash investigation report provided to Daily Voice. Hoboken SantaCon Arrests, Summonses: Guests On Better Behavior This Year, Police Say Guests at Hoboken's annual Santacon were on better behavior this year than last, but arrests were still made, police said. Two people were arrested and another 34 people were issued summonses at the annual SantaCon in Hoboken on Saturday, Dec. 16, authorities said. SantaCon is an annual bar crawl where people dress up like Santa. Woman Mourned After Dying In East Orange Bike Crash Tributes are pouring in for Melody Regus, a 42-year-old Newark resident, who died after being struck by a vehicle in East Orange while on an electric bike on Friday, Dec. 15, authorities said. Powerball Player Wins $50K In Passaic County A Passaic County Powerball player had quite the lucrative Saturday, Dec. 16. Their ticket matched four of the white balls and the Powerball, winning $50,000. The ticket was sold at Super Exito Supermarket in Clifton. Maplewood Home Invasion: Masked Robbers Sought, Police Say Maplewood police said they are looking for two men who pushed their way into a home and robbed the owner at knifepoint on Friday, Dec. 15. FBI Offers $10K Reward In Search Of Jersey City Woman Missing Since 2019 It's been more than four years since 29-year-old Mayushi Bhagat has been seen. Bhagat was last seen leaving her Jersey City apartment on April 29, 2019, according to the FBI. Bhagat, who was attending the New York Institute of Technology, was reported missing by her family two days later. WWE Star Liv Morgan, Elmwood Park Native, Busted For Pot In Florida Traffic Stop: Police Liv Morgan, a Bergen County native and former WWE Women's Champion, has run afoul of the law.
