Capital Region Man Attempted To Sexually Abuse Child, Police Say A 39-year-old man from the region is facing charges after allegedly attempting to sexually abuse a young child, authorities said. Louis Maniscalco, of Albany, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 20, following an investigation by New York State Police. Troopers said a concerned person contacted the agency saying they believed Maniscalco had had “inappropriate” contact with a child under the age of 11.
