Several Schools Placed On Lockdown After Assault At CT Residence Several Connecticut schools were placed on lockdown after an assault was reported at a residence in the area. Police received a report of an assault with a knife in Hartford County at a home on Columbus Avenue near Route 6 in Bristol at about 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, the Bristol Police Department reported. CT Man Admits To Drug Charges After Search Uncovers Fentanyl, Heroin A 38-year-old Connecticut man has admitted to multiple charges after a search of his storage unit uncovered firearms, fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. New Haven County resident Lenwood Gatling, of Waterbury, pleaded guilty on Monday, May 2, to one count of possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, according to Leonard Boyle, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. Police Search For Man Accused Of Stealing Tools From Riverhead Home Depot Police have asked the public for help locating a man accused of stealing tools worth hundreds of dollars from a Home Depot on Long Island. The man stole tools from the store, located at 1550 Old Country Road in Riverhead, at about 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, according to the Suffolk County Police Department on Monday, April 25.
