Brazen Thief Swipes Battery From PA Police Speed Tracker, Drives Off
A bold thief stole a NOCO battery pack straight from a Pennsylvania police speed timing device in broad daylight—then sped off, authorities said.
The shocking theft happened at 4:52 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the intersection of Blue Church Road South and Wild Cherry Drive in Center Valley, Upper Saucon Township police said.
The suspect, driving a white Dodge van, was last seen heading south on Blue Church Road.
Now, investigators are asking the public for help. If you have video footage, recognize the man, or can identify the van’s registration plate, contact police at (610) 282-3064.

An ex-convict could be heading back to prison after being convicted of robbing a Long Island laundromat at gunpoint.
Emilio Hernandez, 54, of Bay Shore, was found guilty of robbery and related charges by a Suffolk County jury on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Hernandez was armed with a pistol when he entered a laundromat on the Sunrise Highway Service Road in Bay Shore donning a mask, hat, and sunglasses on April 11, 2023, according to prosecutors.
