A tractor-trailer hauling an excavator hit an overpass in Orange County and rolled over, blocking three eastbound traffic lanes on Route 17. The incident occurred in Orange County early Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Goshen at Exit 124. Trooper Jennifer Alvarez said there are detours in place. But traffic is backed up. A driver was killed in a crash on I-495 early Friday morning after their vehicle collided with a parked tractor-trailer, Maryland State Police said. Troopers from the Forestville Barrack responded to the crash at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 6, near the Anacostia Freeway. Bonomi of Washingtonville, was cited for speeding and moving from the lane unsafely, and treated at Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries following the crash in the southbound lanes in Hillburn, State Police said.
